MAC Love That Look Relieves My Case of the Mondays
My absolute favorite thing about MAC Suite Array collection that released last year was the Pearlglide Eyeliners ($14.50 US).
With that said, can you imagine how totally stoked I was to hear that MAC’s Love That Look collection will bring back a limited number of these liners? Albeit I am bummed that there will only be four shades included versus the eight from last year’s release, but what the hey, some is better than none! 
Love That Look also brings back MAC’s Starflash Eyeshadow formula (from last year’s Starflash Collection), a powder shadow with a creamy finish and some pearl and frost thrown in. This year’s collection features 12 shades – some repromotes and most brand-spankin’ new shades like Fashion Groupie and Style Snob.
Fashion Groupie ($14.50 US) is a pretty violet with tinges of blue. It’s a gorgeous hue that’s colorful when you want it to be, but can also be subtle. It’s nice to see shades that are versatile like this.
Style Snob is a moderate taupe with hints of gold and pink tones. Although not very original for me, this does make a good basic brown. The texture and finish are what makes this shade outstanding, a real contender for an all-time great neutral brown.
For my look today, I combined the two shades, wearing Style Snob all over my lid and applying Fashion Groupie blended into the crease.
I only wanted a hint of purple so in order to keep a neutral look and gave my eyes a little pop with Rave Pearlglide Eyeliner ($14.50 US), a purple with flecks of glitter throughout. It’s totally outstanding and helps to bring out the violet in Fashion Groupie, too.

I’m lemming on NARS O but I’m not quite sure it’d flatter my cheeks the way Blonde flatters yours, but currently, a good old lip and cheek stain is what I tote along.
