Milani Lip Mixers Shine Like CHANEL
It’s a wonderful thing when you discover quality products at the drugstore. It makes me even more giddy to find items that bear a resemblance to CHANEL on your lips.
Milani is a great drugstore brand that I first read about on Nessasary Makeup and Musings of a Muse. They have a full range of quality color cosmetics and I’m happy to say that I’ve found a couple of lippies that compare to my beloved CHANEL.
Released earlier this year, Milani Lip Mixers ($6 US) are high-shine glosses that are available in six shades. Each shade containing three distinct color formulas (from L to R) – reflective pearls, high shine polymers, and conditioning color.
Mixed together, they give an awesome finish that made me do a double-take after I first applied them on my lips. After I applied Lip Stir (left), a sheer peachy beige, I could have sworn it was almost like CHANEL Arlequin from the Fall Venice Collection.
Lip Fuse (right) is a sheer baby pink with the same ultra-shine finish.
Yes, Lip Stir is much darker when swatched but the finished look on my lips is very similar. consistency, shine, and the quality definitely gives the high-end brand a run for its money. Here’s a comparison of the two on my lips – top is CHANEL and bottom is Milani:
Recessionistas out there will be happy to know that you don’t have to dish out the big bucks to get a great product.
But, what you won’t get with Milani is the sleek CHANEL packaging. Nothing compares to the signature Glossimer tube with the elegant black handle and the double C logo stamped on the top.

I am so glad that you like them. I have 5 out of the 6 and was so surprised at the quality of them. I heard about them through a YouTuber (lisasz09) who does make up reviews.
However that doesn’t mean that I don’t want to try the Chanel ones.

The one I use the most is Lip Fuse but the one I think I like the best is Lip Blend which is a plum one. Idk I think I just like the color of it. And yes you need to get them all.

i love how it looks on u!! I even think it’s more glossy and water/glass like looking than the Chanel, and i love that glassy look….i walk past them a lot and pick them up and look at them but u have now enabled the purchase! i must get the ones i’ve been looking at!
and Lip stir, i prob wudn’t get a color like that but i will try it now thanks to u honey
