Opposites Attract with NARS Fall 2009

“For this collection, I wanted to create something fragile and strong, and seductive but not aggressive,” said Francois Nars, creator of NARS Cosmetics.   The new Fall 2009 Color Collection recreates fall runways with boldness and femininity. Strength and refinement are key to getting the look!

Trendy, dark lips are usually all the rage for fall seasons but NARS Lipstick in Fast Ride ($24 US) gives a nice alternate option. Sheer plum lips flatter, but stay day appropriate. For the risk taker, but not the dare-devil!

Sultry bedroom eyes are modern and yet edgy. Light and dark mingle on your eyelids to contour and highlight. I love the model’s look here.  Recreate it by framing your eyes with pale pinks and rose with  NARS Eye Shadow Duo in Silk Road ($32 US) and NARS Single Eye Shadow in Mekong ($22 US). The coffee color with gold shimmer is intense, sparkly, and unique, enchanting the senses for all.

To complete your fall look, try black amethyst nails instead of jewels. NARS Nail Polish in Tokaido Express ($16 US) is more chic than black, making it the ultimate fall accessory.
