Seafood Ravioli with Scampi Sauce
Many of you who read my food section will know that I’m fond of ravioli and I’m always looking for ways to dress them up.
A couple of weeks ago the Boyfriend and I went to the Alemany Farmers’ Market and found these wonderful homemade ravioli and pastas from a local vendor. Looking for something new, we bought a package of seafood ravioli from them and finally made them this past week.
Our ravioli were filled with whole bay scallops, fish and ricotta cheeses. To complement the seafood in our pasta, we decided to spruce it up with shrimp and a classic scampi sauce with lots of butter, garlic, shallots, and white wine. All we did was make a little extra sauce, enough to toss all our pasta in it.
If you had seafood ravioli, what would you eat with it? A white sauce? Butter or red sauce? Let’s dish!!
