Sneak Peak: Lock Lips with CHANEL Glossimers for Fall

Saturday night is approaching and I am totally giddy thinking about which CHANEL Glossimer from the new Venice Collection I want to wear to a friend’s birthday party in the East Bay tonight.

Will it be Courtisane ($26 US), a pretty pink hue that only conjures up thoughts of candy-coated sweetness?  Or will it be Arlequin, a sheer golden pearl shimmer?

While I love the girlish pink shade in Courtisane, this gloss doesn’t apply as well on my lips as my other trusty CHANELs.  It takes a couple of swipes to get an even coverage on my pucker and by time all is said and done, my lips feel a little weighed down and heavy.

Arlequin, on the other hand, is a gorgeous golden girl you can take with you anywhere.  Subtle flecks of gold on gold really helps to deliver shine without being obnoxious.

Of the two, I think tonight I’m gonna rock it in Arlequin.  She would pair wonderfully with a hot, smokey eye I’m going to do with my new CHANEL Murano Eye Palette ($56 US).

But before I make a final decision, let’s take a vote, shall we?  Which Fall Glossimer shade would you rather lock lips with on a Saturday night out?

CHANEL Venice Makeup Collection for Fall is out on counters this month, have you peeped it in person yet?
