I came home the other day to a pretty package with an even prettier package inside: a quilted travel bath tote filled with Lisa Hoffman Spa Packettes.

At the crux of Lisa Hoffman’s skincare collection are these travel-sized spa products that you can take with you anywhere you go – a weekend away, to the gym, or even leave a set at your boyfriend’s house.

Give Your ‘Do a Boost with TRESemmé

For me, new hair gives me a fresh start and outlook toward life, it transforms me.

Apparently my sister Jade felt the same way. She stepped up and pushed the edge by requesting an extreme crop from her stylist. Her inspiration picture above was the general look she was going for.

The shoulder blade length hair was transformed into thick, piecey bangs and long layers. She loved it!

However, maintaining her hair was going to take some work though. Jade’s longer hair required little effort, but with this cut, she’ll need products for that swept, edgy look.

Wandering Rite Aid, we were immediately drawn to the pretty black and hot pink colors on the TRESemmé’s 24-Hour Body collection. Complaining that she wanted fluffy, lifted roots and flexible hold, we agreed that this line of hair fixers was perfect for her.

Recessionistas Rule! An Easy Day-to-Night Look

If I were the partying type of gal, (which I’m not) I imagine that I’d have around 10 minutes to crank up my day look in time for an evening bash.

On top of that, I’m I’d only have room for a couple of items in my pretty little clutch. What can I stuff in there besides my phone, gum, keys, etc? Hmm, I wonder….

I can certainly think of a few scenarios where I’d use happily use a long-wearing lipstick:

1. My wedding day: Instead of worrying about makeup, I’d spend time remembering how I’m feeling while he says his vows; remembering to eat that fabulous menu I put together, and, of course, indulge on cake.

2. If I happen to be in an on-stage performance, I’d want my red lipstick to stay on while I belt out verses of You Give Love a Bad Name (karaoke, anyone?)

3. When I don’t have a second to breathe in between meetings but still want to look well-put together and ready for the job.
