Crystal’s Favorite Fragrances
The beauty world is huge, but fragrance may be the most underestimated category. The way a person smells is important to me, because it makes an immediate impression and lasts in my memory.
But the idea of having one signature scent is so old fashioned! I always like rotating scents so I switch it up among my perfume collection which consists of lots of citruses and fruits.
I love Bath and Body Works, they always make great splashes ($10.50 US each), which fade quickest. Since the price is so low, it’s okay if I have to re-spray five times a day! Pink Grapefruit smells amazingly fruity with hints of fresh citrus. It’s not a typical scent, so I definitely stand out in a crowd.
Sun-ripened Raspberry is actually more night than day; it’s deep and elegant. The floral notes add a nice touch.
Pearberry is beloved. I love how the pears actually smell kind of citrusy with all the berries mixed in!
Calvin Klein ck One Summer ($44 US) is a unisex scent which makes it so interesting! Be warned that it’s an acquired scent. The first whiff may seem too cologny, but as the scent progresses, you’ll love it even more. It’s not a floral, but more like a white water freshness with some woodsy appeal.
Harajuku Lovers Music ($45 US) is sweet and fruity. It smells like a a baked dessert to me, but others tell me it’s more of a fruity drink. Either way, Music offers you a sweet and passionate look into the world with lots of pretty smells to play with all day.
DKNY Be Delicious ($40 US) is a fabulous scent for everyday. The perfect blend of citrus and florals; it’s not average or boring though. DKNY Be Delicious is as refreshing as a face spritz and gives you the smell of casual confidence.
DKNY Red Delicious ($40 US) is DKNY Be Delicious‘s dark, tempting sister. She’s the amazingly bad gal who wears motorcycle jackets and fishnets like there’s no tomorrow. Yet there’s the sweet side of her, thanks to fruits and some pretty florals. She’s the person you want to be around-at a hot night club, of course! It’s definitely not for my everyday, but at night, I’ll let her shine.

Great blog! The Be Delicious aroma is very citrusy and fresh. It is by far one of my favorite perfumes to wear during the spring and summer.
