Review: Origins Multi-Grain Makeup

Origins Multi-Grain Makeup promo

Foundation has become the necessity for many women. The right one will give you the perfect amount of coverage while feeling natural; the worst will look like a Halloween mask.

I’ve had so many bad runs with foundations that I’ve lost confidence in finding the perfect one. I sometimes feel like I need coverage, but am afraid of wasting more money on yet another useless foundation.

Like an answer to a prayer, Origins has given me the opportunity to try out their new Multi-Grain Makeup ($25 US).  Although not well-known for their makeup, I love their masks, so I hoped for great things from their makeup as well.

Origins Multi-Grain Makeup_inside

Filled with tons of amazing ingredients like minerals, Organic Oats, Goji Berry, Vitamins, and Rice Flour, Origins Multi-Grain Makeup sounds like a dream for a skin healing foundation. I love that there’s SPF 14 to help with skin protection too.

Multi Grain Makeup is very silky with a creamy texture. Using the Origins Powder Foundation Brush ($22 US), it buffs onto the skin nicely. Immediately I see light-medium coverage and a glowy, slightly matte, look. I prefer to keep it that way, but when I decided to try out heavier coverage, I realized that it still felt smooth on my skin. Points for great buildable coverage!

Origins Powder Foundation Brush

The Origins Powder Foundation Brush ($22 US) is so plush and soft! I’m happy with the synthetic bristles; since I want cruelty free makeup brushes. I also love the quality of this brush, and the simple wood handle. It’s a worthy investment since it’s such a multi-tasker.

I can use this brush to buff loose foundation onto the skin, but I can also use it to apply pressed powder since it has fluffy bristles. The short handle makes this brush great for travel too.

Overall, Origins Multi Grain Makeup has changed my negative view point of loose powders and foundations in general. It’s great to discover new makeup that opens your eyes up to the world more, isn’t it? Apparently, I’m not the only one loving on Origins too, read all the raves about Origins Multi Grain Makeup here.

What’s your opinion on foundation? Have you tried Origins makeup before? Let’s talk in the comments!
