Have you tried Shiseido’s new Luminizing Satin Eye Color yet?

Well, you must!

For Fall, Shiseido releases 15 new shades of silky, beautifully vibrant eye shadows inspired by mosaic art.  The collection features an array of colors from neutral to bold, a fit for any pretty lady’s taste.

A hot trend for fall is the colored smokey eye, the perfect excuse to rock the blues with a little gray.

Although I couldn’t find the exact shades and names online anywhere, Luminizing Satin Eye Color ($25 US) in SV817 is a beautiful silver pearl.

BL616 is a really gorgeous deep sapphire blue that exudes luminosity.

Each shade is very soft and really pigmented – good for slowly building color and adjusting intensity depending on the occasion.

At $25 bucks a pop, these are a little on the steep side but well worth the splurge if you find a color you really love.  (Read: Get the blue shade!!)

As you can see from the swatch to my eyes, I didn’t go all out with the blue for my makeup look yesterday since I only have a few minutes to throw a face on every morning.  But I was dying to wear it so I did a subtle sweep over my lids and worked in more of the gray.

When I wear it for evening, I’m definitely going bold to get the full effect of the blue – I can’t stress enough how pretty it is!

I’ve never tried Shiseido makeup aside from the Brow Duo and perhaps a lipstick many years ago.  With the high quality of these eye shadows, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be taking a closer look at new color collections from now on.
