Holy Grail-Worthy: Crystal’s Favorites for Eyes

I either try, want, saw, or need (fill in name of completely random, insensible, lust-worthy makeup product here).
Most of the time though, it’s a short term, not-meant-to-be relationship with said “random, insensible, and lust-worthy makeup product.”
That’s why a declared HG (Holy Grail) product from me is HUGE! I’m practically marrying the product for life. Read on to see what my favorite eye products are:

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eyeliner in Bourbon ($17 US) is the prettiest brown ever. I don’t like wearing black eyeliner unless I’m going for a smoky eye, so brown is a staple. This one has silver flecks that makes it look nicer and it stays on forever.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eyeliner in Lucky ($17 US) is an orangey-copper and looks great for minimal makeup days. I want to look naturally pretty and this is perfect for the waterline; it pops against my skin tone in a totally believable way.
I hope you can find MAC Pearlglide Eyeliner in Rave ($14. 50 US) at your local CCO, because it’s amazing! Deep purple with glittery, shimmer bits, it’s the most fun purple eyeliner ever. I wear it all the time with gold eye shadow to look royally chic.
Or, you can wait to see if MAC will re-promote it in another collection next year like they did just a few months ago with Love That Look.
I remember returning Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner in Covet because it looked clownish on me. This was never the case with Tarte EmphaseEyes High Definition Eye Pencil in Green ($18 US), a sophisticated deep forest green. I love the slim shape too. Read my review here.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Gossip ($19 US) is described as a silvery plum. The shimmer really makes this a winner! I love how Benefit cream shadows allow you to layer until you get the desired pigmentation and I love how my eyes pop with this color.
MAC Eye Shadow in Time and Space ($14.50 US): I found this gem at my CCO, will you? The perfect brown eye shadow, it’s a combo of medium brown and golden brown that looks stunning when paired with gold shadow and black eyeliner for a neutral smoky eye.
Stila MAJOR Major Lash Mascara’s ($22 US) huge brush reminds me of Dior DiorShow Mascara. But the flirty curl factor (the one thing I lack in the lash department) is something DiorShow never gave me. Sorry Dior, I’ve moved on to Stila, my one true mascara love.
There is no way in heaven that eyeshadow is going to look good and stick to my eye lids unless I spray crazy glue onto them. Thank goodness I don’t have to go that far, because Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($17 US) is the only miracle worker I need to keep my shadow on and the crazy glue off. Read my review here.
I love my Urban Decay Book of Shadow ($45 US) palette so much, I’m not even going to cheat on it by purchasing the new Book of Shadows 2. (At least that’s what I tell myself to keep the makeup budget low!) It’s the perfect combo of colors with a whole row of neutrals. Read my official review here.
What are your HG Eye products? Any on your list that are limited edition like mine?

I agree with you about the DiorShow mascara.
It would uncurl my lashes.
I still haven’t tried the Urban Decay liners, but I want to.
I use the Revlon ColorStay ones.
I like them and they stay put, but wouldn’t mind trying other brands.

Hi Karrie!
I was pretty relieved that my HG Mascara wasn’t the DiorShow, because it’s pricey! But yes, it’s definitely not for curling, more volume I think.
The Urban Decay liners are awesome! I totally think they’re worth every penny. I’ve had my lucky for 3 or 4 months now, and it’s still pretty long. Love the smooth texture. I like the Revlon Colorstay texture wise, but it smudged a bit on me.
