I love collaborations between the beauty and fashion worlds. It’s an affordable way to own a little luxury. Plus, the quality and price are usually great!

There’s Anna Sui for Target and Jimmy Choo for H&M; Hello Kitty for MAC and Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen. Now, there’s Tsumori Chisato for Shu Uemura!

Everyone knows what Shu Uemura is, but who is Tsumori Chisato? She is a famous Japanese designer who has a cute, girly fashion style. This year, Chisato has collaborated with Shu Uemura to feature her favorite Japanese icons, “twinkle star” and “lucky cat”.

The Lustre Collection for Holiday 2009 is perhaps the best Prescriptives collection I’ve encountered in the past two years of The Daily Cookie.

I adore the cool shades in this set so much it’s bittersweet to know that Prescriptives will no longer be producing color collections come January.

So with that said, I will savor the beautiful shades and even lovelier textures from Lustre – a collection with underlying gold tones in each product making it a must-wear for me tomorrow during the Thanksgiving festivities.
