Three New Scents, Three New Personalities from Victoria’s Secret PINK

As a kid, I remember girls either loved or hated to dress up. There was no middle ground from tomboy to girly girl. But now as adults, I see women blurring the lines between the two and dressing up or down depending on their mood.

With this in mind, Victoria’s Secret’s new PINK fragrance collection allows you to switch up your personality with three new scents: Hope, Wish, and Live. You can even choose how your wear it – via Eau de Parfum ($32 US), Body Lotion ($12 US), Fragrance Mist ($15 US), or Rollerball ($10 US).

Are You a Cyndi? Or a Gaga? MAC Viva Glam “From Our Lips” Helps You Decide

I’m totally a Cyndi.

Well, I want to be her anyway. She’s old school, timeless, yet still contemporary, and oh-so-sassy!

From the “From Our Lips” Collection and one of two new limited edition Viva Glam lipsticks benefiting the MAC AIDS Fund to support the fight against HIV/AIDS, Viva Glam Cyndi ($14 US) is a reddish coral that’s surprising wearable despite the bold red exterior.

Nails of the Week: YSL Mauve Silk

Winter is nearly over, which means I think I’m finally ready to venture out into some color to greet the spring season.

To ease my way in from the muted neutrals or dark shades I’ve been wearing, I choose an actual color this week – Yves Saint Laurent Nail Lacquer ($20 US) in Mauve Silk from their spring collection.

Today’s FOTD: Purple Sparkles from Stila

I felt a little spunky this morning and decided to play with my Stila Jewel Shadow Palette ($32 US) from the latest spring collection.

Featuring four glittering shades of shadow, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Black Diamond, and Golden Topaz, these shades appear to be very chunky but actually wear a little sheerer with a slightly wet-looking finish.

They’re quite unique and I adore Amethyst, the gray mauve shade.

For today’s Face of the Day, I applied Amethyst to the outer two thirds of my lids in sort of a reverse V (the tip of the V starts from the middle of the lid as opposed to the outer corner working in).
