Valentine’s Date Idea & Beauty Look To Go: Theme Parks
It’s the memories that count when you share a Valentines Day with someone special, right? Still, it wouldn’t hurt to look drop-dead gorgeous while you’re at it. Personally, I like to plan ahead so that I look stunning for any occasion and I’m sure you do too!
Whether you are planning a intimate 5-course dinner date or walking along the beach with your S.O., this guide will give you tips for making sure you look great in any setting. Today’s Valentine’s Day date takes on a fun-filled ride to the theme park or carnival.
The theme park is no where to carry a back up beauty bag so makeup should be the last of your worries. That’s why it is best to stay simple.
Remember sun protection; try the Korres Watermelon Sunscreen Stick SPF 30 ($24.50 US) which is a pink highlighter and portable sunscreen in one!
For the makeup, smooth on a tinted moisturizer with SPF like Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer ($38 US) for a light coverage, but skip the blush; you’ll naturally flush from the adrenaline of the rides.
Prep your lips for all-day in the sun with Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm with SPF 15 ($2.99 US) and apply a lip pencil like Hard Candy Visibly Wet Lip Pencil ($6 US) in Cougar, a pretty red, for lasting color.
Apply two coats of waterproof mascara on the top and bottom lashes after curling and a sweep of shimmery pink or gold cream eyeshadow to look lively and playful. Bonus: the cream texture won’t rub off easily!
Do you have your Valentine’s Day plans set yet? If not, don’t worry, we’ve got a couple more date ideas and beauty looks to go with them coming your way soon!
