Ever heard of Rue La La?

I hadn’t until my friend invited me to this shopping site where private sales are happening daily. Rue La La features steals and deals on clothing, jewelry, beauty, home, spa, travel – you name it!

Each brand’s sale, or boutiques, are only open for a very limited time with limited quantities so you have to act fast to get the best deals.

One day last fall, we noticed that Exhale Spa at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica was going to have a sale so we decided to jump in on it to see what deals we would find. Rue La La lets you know what new boutiques are coming up and allows you to set yourself reminders for stores you’re interested in so you remember to check in and shop.

The New Look of CoverGirl Clean Makeup

CoverGirl powders were the first compacts I ever owned. All the girls in school had a round, brown compact in their backpack that we all used to touch-up with throughout the day.

So while CoverGirl has revamped the packaging of the Clean Makeup foundation and Pressed Powder, what’s inside is still the same, light-weight formula I used 15 years ago.
