Estée Lauder America’s Night to Repair Event

We here at The Daily Cookie love Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex and now you can get your hands on a deluxe 10-day sample at all Estée Lauder counters nationwide during their America’s Night to Repair event.

This Thursday, July 22nd, Estée Lauder will kick off its largest sampling program to date, to anniversary the success of last year’s first annual America’s Night to Repair. For 4 synchronized hours, from 5pm – 9pm (local time), Estée Lauder Beauty Advisors will be distributing a total of 360,000 deluxe samples.

Choose either a 10-day supply of NEW Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex (I’ll be getting this to combat against crow’s feet) or Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex for face– one sample per customer while supplies last.

So mark your calendars ladies, this event is one you won’t want to miss!

xo, Lilan

alice + olivia for MAC Cosmetics

Another collaboration of fashion and beauty emerges from MAC Cosmetics with their new mini collection of pigments, glosses and polishes inspired by fashion brand Alice + Olivia.

I’m not much of a pigment-wearing girl so the three new shades of Dazzleglass Creme ($18 US) really caught my eye.  When I think of Dazzleglass, I think of bling and shine but a couple of these Creme versions are anything but.

Perbacco Ristorante & Bar

I miss date nights with my Boyfriend in San Francisco.  Last time I was in the city, we tried out Perbacco in the Financial District and they totally exceeded my expectations.

It’s rare for me to want to go back to a restaurant for a second meal, but Perbacco has lured me in and today, I have a craving for some of their Italian goodness.

Pesce Crudo light, tangy and fresh albacore tuna that could have been sliced or cut thinner but flavors were bright and punchy – delish!

Agnolotti filled with braised veal and savoy cabbage was rich and earthy in tasty pasta bites.  I would have gladly eaten an entire bowlful.  This is the dish that makes me want to return to Perbacco and try all their pastas!

Grilled Lamb Chops

Seared Scallops with a ramp puree, fava beans and chanterelle mushrooms

Fennel-dusted Bomboloni are like donuts, albeit these are not as light and fluffy, and served with a rich chocolate sauce and orange marmalade

My next date night with the Boyfriend won’t be until September (sadly) but one thing’s for sure, we’ll be eating our hearts out in San Francisco!!
