Perbacco Ristorante & Bar
I miss date nights with my Boyfriend in San Francisco. Last time I was in the city, we tried out Perbacco in the Financial District and they totally exceeded my expectations.
It’s rare for me to want to go back to a restaurant for a second meal, but Perbacco has lured me in and today, I have a craving for some of their Italian goodness.
Pesce Crudo light, tangy and fresh albacore tuna that could have been sliced or cut thinner but flavors were bright and punchy – delish!
Agnolotti filled with braised veal and savoy cabbage was rich and earthy in tasty pasta bites. I would have gladly eaten an entire bowlful. This is the dish that makes me want to return to Perbacco and try all their pastas!
Grilled Lamb Chops
Seared Scallops with a ramp puree, fava beans and chanterelle mushrooms
Fennel-dusted Bomboloni are like donuts, albeit these are not as light and fluffy, and served with a rich chocolate sauce and orange marmalade
My next date night with the Boyfriend won’t be until September (sadly) but one thing’s for sure, we’ll be eating our hearts out in San Francisco!!
