My coworkers and I decided to do a ladies luncheon today to take advantage of the great Orange County Restaurant Week deals by our offices that are going on this week (until Saturday, October 2nd).
During OC Restaurant Week you can dine at some of the yummiest spots Orange County has to offer from as little as $10 menus for a 3-course lunch and $30 starting for 3-course dinners.
Today we tried the prix fixe at Pinot Provence near South Coast Plaza and were delighted with the outcome. There were four of us and three different options each for Starters, Entrees, and Dessert. Aside from the starters, we ordered one of each.

Roasted baby beets, goat cheese, oranges, lemon vinaigrette, watercress

Hand-rolled fettuccini, seasonal vegetables, fresh pesto, goat cheese

Pan-roasted herb-crusted New Zealand snapper, mint emulsion, baby carrots, cauliflower, chermoula rubbed fingerling potatoes

Crème fraîche panna cotta, peach and mango compote

Valrhona chocolate and raspberry mouse cake, crème anglaise, vanilla bean gelato
We also had rotisserie chicken, pommes purée, haricots verts, sauce grand-mère as one of our entrees and a trio of gelatos for our last dessert. Everything was pretty yummy and at $20, you can’t really beat it. The portions were great!
We’re hoping to take advantage of OC Restaurant Week again on Friday before it ends this weekend, what about you? What eatery has caught your eye from the list posted online?
