Blast to the Past with NARS Vintage Nail Polish Collection

Honestly speaking I’d rather watch an episode of Glee than see an old black and white Marilyn Monroe film, but for movies like Roman Holiday I’m willing to make an exception. The cinematography and plot are just too stunning.

That’s just one of the special cases where vintage is better.  And vintage is just what NARS is giving you this Fall, in the form of five pretty new nail lacquers. Nails of the Week: CHANEL Intermezzo

I feel a little silly for not posting my last two Nails of the Week – it’s been a little hectic plus I caught a cold last week that prevented me from posting last week – bad, I know!

The last two shades I painted were from Color Club’s latest collection, Every Shade of Indulgence.  The first was a (very) vampy burgundy, Ready to Royal, and last week I had on a gray Positively Posh.

This week, I am feeling very demure and decided on a pearl white from CHANEL called Intermezzo ($23 US) from last year’s Fall collection.

Undo Summertime’s UV Damage with Kiehl’s Photo-Age High Potency Spot Treatment

A few weeks ago, I told you about my rendezvous with another spot corrector that didn’t quite deliver the even skin I thought I would get.

So my search continues for a potion, or lotion, that will rid my face of these spots.  Right now I’m using Kiehl’s Photo-Age High Potency Spot Treatment ($49 US), a new product from the brand’s new Photo-Age Corrector collection.  All of the products work to reverse the visible and invisible signs of UV damage.
