Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Setters
Remington T-Studio launched a revolutionary new line of hairstyling tools called Pearl Ceramic. All the styling tools from the collection feature the exclusive Remington Pearl Ceramic technology with fresh water pearls crushed and infused into the tools to improve both heat-up and heat recovery time.
Since I cannot do my own hair to save my life, I appreciate any styling tools that keep me from giving up and pulling my hair back in a pony tail. So for me, the stand out (and the most fun) tool in this collection are the Heated Clip Setters.
As a hairstyling novice, I was intimidated by the appearance of foam-covered rollers in various sizes heating up in a large plastic box. I expected the Heated Clip Setters to be difficult and dangerous to use. I was soooo wrong. For someone who has never put curlers in her hair, these were easy to use and produced gorgeous results.
The set comes with 20 rollers and 20 coordinating heated clips in two sizes. There are eight medium 1” rollers and twelve large 1-1/4” rollers. The mix of medium and large rollers is the perfect blend for creating a full head of bouncy, sexy waves.
The curlers heat up in 90 seconds and sets curls in just 5 minutes. The most difficult part of styling with the Heated Clip Setters is deciding where to place the curlers and whether you want use them vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
On days that I want to sleep in but still want voluminous hair, I’ll cheat. The night before, I’ll use the curlers to set my hair, leave the clippers in 15 minutes longer than usual then loosely wrap my head with a silky scarf. In the morning, I’ll run my fingers through the curls with some de-frizzing Got2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Satin Drops ($9 US) and finish with a modest amount of Oribe Soft Lacquer ($42 US) hair spray for flexible hold with lots of shine.
Remington Heated Clip Setters belongs to the T-Studio Pearl Ceramic seven piece collection that also consists of: 1” Slim Straightener ($40 US), a 2” Wide Straightener ($40 US), Straightini mini-straightener ($18 US), Sleek & Curl Straightener ($35 US), Professional Styling Wand ($25 US) and an AC Professional Hairdryer with Pearl Conditioning Technology ($40 US).
The entire Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Collection is available now in stores at Ulta and Target locations nationwide. They are also available online at www.ulta.com, www.target.com and www.remingtonproducts.com.
