Deborah Lippmann Across the Universe is Out of this World!
I’m going to confess that during the past month I’d fallen off the bandwagon for maintaining my nails. With holiday cooking, baking, and cleaning my nails have never looked so unkempt. It’s been nearly impossible to set aside the required 20 minutes to give myself a much-needed manicure.
Now that the hectic holiday rush is over, I can finally settle down and make my nails worth blogging about. Can I introduce you to the Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Across the Universe ($18 US)? It was a Christmas present and the newest love of my life. This is the first Deborah Lippmann I’ve tried and I can foreshadow the beginning of a beautiful new relationship.
Just take one look at the mesmerizing mix of hexagonal green and aqua sequined glitter suspended in that deep blue glitter polish. Isn’t this color stunning? It’s pretty hard not to be inspired by this fantastically out-there and unique shade.
Although the jelly formula requires three coats for opacity, the smooth formula makes application a breeze and merits the heavy price tag. After putting on an anti-chip top coat, my manicure has lasted me five days which is excellent for a glitter polish.
What’s the most unique color in your nail stash? Is there a certain Deborah Lippmann I just have to have?

Hey Meredith,
I think that what I like most about “Across the Universe” is the complexity of the glitter. I’ve gotten tons of compliments about my nails since wearing this color! I’m eager to try Lippmann’s famous “Happy Birthday” too. How has your Friday been?

Hey Lilan,
It looks even better in person! This is one of those glitters that are totally worth the pain it takes to remove.
