Lip Lust: Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Luster

Sure, I played with Barbie almost everyday as a kid. Ken and the Dream House make great memories too. But who is she kidding? Barbie’s frosty pink lips are not flattering, no matter how much gloss she applied. It still makes me cringe.

Beauty, for me, seems to be the exception to everything. Who knew that I’d eat my words one day and fall in love with a sparkly bright pink lippie? I thought for sure that it would never be especially since my Barbie was given away a long time ago!

Nails of the Week: Zoya Edyta

I have a tendency to go for either dark or sparkly nail lacquers, but of course it’s awesome if I don’t have to choose between the two, like with this dark foil-finish nail polish.

The problem is that they’re ridiculously hard to capture on camera. But that’s why we love them, right? They play hard to get.

Be Fabulously Scented with Epically Epic Soap

I can’t place my finger on it, but there’s something to love about cheerful packaging. If it makes me happy to look at it, I’m sold. Of course the product should be just as lovely, if not lovelier. What’s the point of buying something charming that you’d never use?

I’m happy to report that Epically Epic Soap is one brand that fulfills the criteria for top marks in my book. I really love how the picture I took above shows off all the pretty colors and designs of the products. In fact, it’s set as my screensaver!

Lengthen Lashes with L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara

One of the silliest things I do in front of the vanity mirror is to bat my lashes when I’m wearing falsies. I love the dramatic change in length and always feel extra girly when I can flutter a luscious fringe of lashes or wink flirtatiously even if it’s just to myself!

Having the ability to do that everyday would be a fairy-tale dream come true for anyone, don’t you think? But since I can’t risk my sanity by depriving myself of sleep every morning to painstakingly apply false lashes, there’s one mascara I can depend on for similar results.
