Revitalize Skin with Kiehl’s Rosa Arctica Cream

The star of Kiehl’s latest anti-aging cream Rosa Arctica ($60 US) is the rare Resurrection Flower – a plant known for its resilience in harsh climates. Kiehl’s harnesses the plant’s unique properties to increase skin cell activity to promote younger looking skin.

Haberlea rhodopensis, more commonly known as the Resurrection Flower, grows in the dry Hoops Mountain Range of Bulgaria. The small purple flower has adapted to its barren environment by developing physiological and structural traits that minimize dehydration by protecting water content within cells.

By retaining much needed moisture, the plant is able to restructure its cells, recharge and re-emerge unharmed after just a few days.

LORAC 3D Multidimensional Beauty Collection Pops!

If I’m going to be honest, I don’t really like watching 3D films. I find it much more distracting than entertaining. Apparently, Hollywood doesn’t agree since it seems like almost every animation being produced is also featured in 3D.

Even though I’m biased against three dimensional movies, I have to say that I can see why LORAC was inspired by them. Imagine the possibilities! So the LORAC 3D Multidimensional Beauty Collection is something I was readily open to.

The LORAC Multiplex 3D Eye Shadow Palette ($38 US) is a beauty. Holographic snake-skin packaging, flashing duo-chrome colors, and insanely soft texture are only some of the nice things about the palette.

Crystal Says: Weekend Beauty Reads

Was it just me or did daylight saving time really mess with your sleeping schedule this past week? Besides the bizarreness of waking up to pitch black darkness, having the sun out at 6 or 7PM really threw me for a loop looking out the window.

Any exciting weekend plans? So far I have none, although yesterday a friend and I watched Morning Glory starring Rachel McAdams. The comedy romance film was the perfect pick me up to a rather drab week. Have you seen it?

March 19th is the Bath & Body Works I Love Fragrance Event!

Even as I have some sweet blueberries and crisp apples I haven’t been able to get pink grapefruits out of my head. They’re dancing in my mind like the sheep that you’re supposed to count when trying to fall asleep. But I’m not thinking about the actual fruit.

Let me present to you the affordable and easily accessible Bath and Body Works Pink Grapefruit line. I’ve consistently loved the scent for years and I stockpile the classic body splashes each year. Ironically, I don’t like how the real fruit tastes.
