Crystal Says: Weekend Beauty Reads

Remember here when I wrote about feather hair extensions? Well now I’m back with feather earrings! I really like the soft bohemian style going on with feather accessories and these Forever21 earrings were too fabulous to pass up.

I’ve been wearing these inexpensive and trendy earrings a lot since they fall and frame the face in such a fun way. Their peach color feels light and summery to me but there were also brighter peacock colored and earthy neutral brown options at the store.

MAC FashionFlower Collection

There’s this one episode of Project Runway where the contestants had to design an ensemble out of materials found in a flower warehouse. I liked seeing the innovation in that challenge and remember it being really interesting to watch.

In that same way, I love the beautifully and creatively done floral headpiece in the above shot for MAC Cosmetics’s FashionFlower Collection. Released just yesterday, it’s a cheery way to wave farewell to Spring for the year.

Kate Middleton Isn’t The Only One Getting Hitched..

So are we!

After more than eight years, The Boyfriend popped the question in a very sweet, yet confusing (apparently only to me), proposal underneath a tree at this little park bench next to the Maritime Museum at San Francisco’s Aquatic Park right below Ghirardelli Square.

The Boyfriend and I already started looking at reception venues while I was in the city last weekend and found a couple of spots we love! More on that soon :)

I hope everyone is having a happy Friday on this royal wedding day.. I can’t wait to start planning my own royal wedding

Bath & Body Works Scent Stackers are Cute and Portable!

I’m definitely on the shorter side of the height range but I can’t help myself from carrying disproportionately huge bags filled to the brim with random stuff. Toting everything around and being prepared for anything is something I like.

It gets worse with packing items for travel. I never end up using half the things I bring, but there’s an existing what-if situation paranoia. Good thing Bath & Body Works recently designed one way to lessen the load whether it’s a trip to the gym, packing for a vacation, or running errands on a busy Saturday morning.
