It was gloriously victorious the day that I finally convinced my mom to let me shave my legs. At the time I wanted to since everyone else was shaving though now I do it for myself since I like having silky smooth skin.
I still remember my first razor. It was a pink disposable one by Schick. Fast forward some years later and I still love and use Schick razors. In fact my stand-by is the Schick Quattro since it’s purple and I never cut myself with it.
Would the Schick Intuition, a razor that only requires water due to a moisturizing solid bar, be just as good?

As a kid I had my share of preppy hairstyles and accessories way before Blair Waldorf made them popular. I was especially into bows and plaid headbands though jeweled rhinestone barrettes would sometimes make an appearance.
From then to now what’s changed? I’m opting for more romantic, almost vintage-y styles that are just as easy to wear as a corduroy brown and red plaid headband. The Goody Modern Organica Collection gives off exactly that sweet and fun vibe.

If it wasn’t for music I’d never be motivated enough to put in the time or energy to work out. But as bikini season gets closer than ever, it’s time to update my playlists for high intensity cardio-weights routines. Lucky for me, the Itunes $0.69 song selection is in great shape right now.
It might seem weird to mix classic Mariah Carey with old school Britney Spears but when I warm up to Mariah and get my heart rate up with Britney, it’s an effective combination. Are you listening to anything good this Memorial Day Weekend?
