L’Oreal Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara Lengthens, Too!

Over the last couple of months, I have been in love with my MAC Opulash mascara. So much so that I was in denial when my tube started running dry. I was reluctant to replace it and let it go until there was absolutely nothing left I could scrape out of the tube.

Finally, I saw the light and picked up a new mascara over the weekend, L’Oreal Extra Volume Collagen ($7.95 US). The formula is made with hydra-collagen so that my lashes look much thicker than usual. The website touts 12x the volume, but I’m no scientist and can’t tell with my naked eye if it is or not. ;)

Nails of the Week: China Glaze Westside Warrior

It’s no surprise that Fall is my favorite season for nail collections. I love seeing the new dark crème lacquers with rich warm undertones that are usually created. Vibrant Summery hues are special but there’s always space in my cabinet for Fall colors.

From what I’ve seen so far, it looks like Fall 2011 is going to be slightly disappointing with more brights than we’re used to seeing. It’s alright though because there’s one collection I’m head over heels for. The China Glaze Metro Collection.

I’ve recently developed a liking for television shopping channels. Why? Because my aunt likes to buy vacation package off of those aforementioned channels. She came across a deal that was so amazing she couldn’t pass it up and bought nine packages! I was one of the lucky recipients of a week-long trip to China.

This was my first trip to China so I was too stoked to ask where we were going in the massive country. It was only when I started to pack that I realized I’d need more specifics than “China” – the fourth largest country in the world.
