The holidays are just around the corner and that means it’s time to break out the glitterati. And the perfect collection to fulfill all your sparkle needs is China Glaze Eye Candy Collection for Holiday 2011.

The 6-piece set features glitter particles in different shapes and sizes that gives a multi-dimensional look, it’s 3-D baby! Above I have on Marry a Millionaire, a purple-y silver combination. It’s hard to see the varying specks of sparkle so I’ve included a swatch in the shade that shows it off a little better.

Get Comfy for the Holidays with Origins Nude and Improved

The last thing we want on Turkey Day is to be uncomfortable. If it’s a casual setting, stretchy pants are a must. For more formal dining, an elastic waist skirt doesn’t hurt. Likewise, we want our face to feel at ease especially if you’re one to go straight from dinner to Black Friday shopping.

This means, of course, a nice foundation that feels as light as the soufflé you whipped up and looks better in the photos than your holiday themed sweaters. The answer for me was the Origins Nude and Improved Bare Face Makeup with SPF 15 Sunscreen ($21 US).

Holiday sets of miniature beauty goodies may be cute and all, but they pale in comparison to the ones that contain full sized products for a fantastic price. A clear example of one such steal is the Lorac Bejeweled Lip Gloss Collection ($25 US).

Winter Hands Need Crabtree & Evelyn Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy

It’s starting to become that chilly season. The season of baggage where carrying a rain jacket, umbrella, and knit hat are commonplace and the size of our day bag grows. I’m always grumpy about an extra load, preferring to leave things in the car.
