Why Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm Being Red is Awesome

I know lip balms aren’t the most exciting thing to buy, but the really good ones should be. What else can we thank our luscious lips for? I go through balms like crazy in order to keep them in tip-top condition.

Although I have a few reliable lip balms, I like trying new ones. With such a basic product, it’s so rewarding to find unique ones that are superb in their own way.

Like the Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil ($2.99 US). I’m just in love with the fact that the balm appears red in the tube because that means no more accidentally tinting my white balms with whatever lip color I’m wearing that day.

You know what I mean! When your glossed or lipstick-coated lips feel dry, you’ll apply a nice moisturizing lip balm on top and end up ruining other lip balms since you transfer that lip color onto the clean whiteness of that balm. Since this one is red, none of the product transfer shows!

To clarify, this balm actually goes on clear, not red; the colored stick of balm is just aesthetic. Fantastic at soothing inflamed lips, transforming them into cushy, soft ones, I can see why Burt’s Bees lip balms are cult favorites. Pomegranate scented but tasteless, I now want to try other flavors!

What do you think of Burt’s Bees lip balms? How often do you finish a balm?
