Good morning lovelies! I couldn’t sleep last night because I’m so excited to start my mini vacation to Nevada today!

I woke up at 4am (it’s true, your eyes aren’t deceiving you) so I thought I’d get ready early and share with you my Reno FOTD. It’s a fresh and light face with an emphasis on the lips for easy touch-ups in the casino - ha! You know I can’t have my face melting off in 90 degree weather with heavy makeup, right?

I just got NARS Dolce Vita Velvet Matte Lip Pencil ($24 US), a dusty rose shade, and couldn’t wait to wear it out. If you’ve never tried their Velvet Matte Lip Pencils, these babies are jumbo pencils that are really fun - kind of like using a huge crayon to color your lips. They are also enriched with vitamin E to help keep your lips moisturized. While this may help a little, I find that it’s still a little drying; after all it is a pencil. (more…)

So I was getting ready for work this morning, watching the Today Show (of course) and happened to watch the segment on People Magazine’s Hottest Bachelors for 2008.

My first thought was - Oooo, I wonder what sexy, sultry, well-rounded man it’s going to be this year? George Clooney’s newly single again, although too old for my taste. Yes I know.. some of you know I have a thing for Matt Lauer and he’s an older man too. But I’ll save that story for another day… So who made #1 on People’s list? (more…)

Britney Spears’ new music video, Gimme More, is set to debut on MTV Monday, Oct. 8th during TRL. This version leaked onto the internet a couple of days ago but do you think this is the real thing? Like her MTV VMA performance, this lackluster video featuring four minutes of a brunette Britney pole dancing while a blonde Britney looks on. Just as anything else she’s put out lately, it’s just bizarre. Leave a comment and let us know what you think of Britney’s latest comeback attempt.

Christina Aguilera and her hubby, Jordan Bratman, were spotted in L.A. Saturday evening selecting items for their baby registry with Aguilera’s mother- and sister-in-law. People.com reports:

Aguilera spent two hours picking out items for her baby registry at the posh Robertson Boulevard boutique Bel Bambini.

With the help of her in-laws, the couple picked out a selection of items for her upcoming baby shower, including blankets, diaper bags, bottles and clothing.

“They registered for all the accessories,” said Crysta Smith, one of the store’s sales employees. “They were both picking out things together.”
