Okay, this might not be a revelation to some but to me the idea of all this stuff I can do from a mobile phone is AMAZING (as my friend Julie would say).

I’m sitting in the car while the Boyfriend is at the DMV offices right now and just caught up on My Yahoo! RSS reader on my new G1 phone while waiting for him. With just a couple of scrolls I can amuse myself while he waits in that long line (yuck).

Now that I’m done catching up with my favorite blogs, I’m going to continue working on the scarf I’m knitting for a holiday present.

I’ve been sick and coughing a lot these past few days and probably keeping The Boyfriend from his beauty sleep at night.

So today when I spotted this at Bath and Body Works, I couldn’t help but think of him. Isn’t it adorable?

Mobile Blogging

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I’ve been spending the past couple days playing with my new G1 phone from T-Mobile.

I’m completely beside myself on how I can draft a blog post on this phone almost as quickly as I can at home.  Hopefully I can refrain myself from blogging about every gosh darn thing I see at the mall!  LOL

I know I’ve been away for a few days but that’s because over here at The Daily Cookie we’re working on some changes that will hopefully make the site better.

In case you haven’t noticed, I love to bring you my adventures in food on occasion and now I have a section completely dedicated to that, and other things I like to write about – my fun stints out and about in San Francisco as well as get back into my food diary (I’ve been bad, but you’ll hear more about it later!). Now, you can use the nav bar to read about these things if you want to.

Out and About: all about my travels, local or afar
Munch on This: listen to me rant and rave about restaurants and see what I’m cooking up for dinner
Living Well: I gotta get back on the diet train and here’s where I’ll chronicle it

Otherwise, if you only want beauty stories when you come to The Daily Cookie then that’s all you’ll get on the main page.

I’ve got to rush off again – I’m on my way out the door to catch a flight to Orange County to visit my family this weekend! Hope you all have a great weekend!

Wow, I can’t believe it, it’s finally here – today is officially The Daily Cookie’s one-year blogiversary! I just had my mani/pedi party yesterday with some of my friends and even a Daily Cookie reader who was able to join me from Oakland. It was tons of fun and I’ll post all about the event with pictures and announce the winners of the huge Stila and SECRET runner-up raffle bag from Lancôme!!!

For the last year, I’ve had so much fun sharing my ideas on the newest beauty trends with you and allowing myself to even play with some makeup colors I would have probably never dreamed of trying if it weren’t for you. I mean, who else is going to try out fuschia lips and orange eyeshadow for you to see right?? Here’s a little snapshot of the looks I sported on the site.
