Don’t Miss Out: Lancôme’s Ôscillation Mascara

oscillation-mascara.jpg

Lancôme is pre-releasing their hot, new mascara for one day only this Thursday, July 31st, at select locations. Ôscillation is the new kid on the block as the first vibrating mascara. Can you believe that all you have to do is push a button and you could obtain lengthy, luscious, and defined lashes?

Ôscillation has a battery-operated brush that works to provide 7,000 micro-oscillations per minute. Sounds scientific but you’re probably wondering, “How does it work?” Application on this is pretty gosh-darn simple - hold the button on the wand to start the oscillation action and apply in straight, smooth strokes rather than in a zig-zag motion. What you’re left with are gorgeous, glossy lashes that are sure to make your man come hither at the bat of an eye.

Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show, Part 2: Makeup Tips with Lancôme Artist Jason

lancome-makeover1.jpg

Welcome to Part 2 of my coverage of Nordstrom’s Beauty Trend Show held at the San Francisco Centre Downtown this past Saturday.

Right after the show, hundreds of women made their way down to the Cosmetics department where rows and rows of beauty stations were set up at every counter, gearing up to make over women of every color, young and old. My friends and I made appointments at Lancôme to get gussied up.

I got to sit down with Lancôme’s national artist Jason where he made me over and gave me some great makeup tips. (more…)

FOTD: Lancome GWP Eye Palette

This morning I decided to try the Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects palette I got a couple of weeks ago in my Lancome gift with purchase at Nordstorm. I choose the cool palette which has two blue shades, a pinky one, and a matte white highlight.

Even though it was a quick morning application for me and I didn’t plan on sharing, it turned pretty so I thought I’d show you anyway!

Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Palette (COOL):

The New Blue (darker blue) is applied on the eyelid, starting from the lash line and blended just above the natural crease of the eye.

Off The Rack (pinky shade) is applied slightly above and blended into the crease.

Daylight (matte white) is used to highlight right underneath the brows.

MAC Coffee Eye Pencil is used to line the top and bottom lids.

Finish off with Lancome Cils Booster XL mascara base and one coat of Loreal Original Voluminous Mascara in Black.

Let me know if you like this look and if you do, I plan on featuring this Lancome palette in an evening look.

Love Your Lashes!

I recently replenished my Lancôme Dual Finish compact and received a free gift at Nordstrom. Usually, there’s nothing really out of the ordinary in those gifts, but this time, I found a new product I really love - Lancôme’s Cils Booster XL.

This enhacing mascara base maximizes the result of any mascara you normally use and features micro-fibers for enhanced effect with a triangular brush helps separate lashes. And since I have short and thin lashes, I saw a vast improvement when I tried it. My lashes definitely looked fuller and longer.

Shop for your own Lancôme’s Cils Booster XL for $20 now.

If you’re looking for a two-in-one mascara includes this lash enhancing base so that you don’t have to carry two separate products, Bourjois has Coup de Theatre. It’s a double-sided mascara that allows you to get the illusion of false eyelashes…without the fuss in two steps.

Step 1 - Lash extension: white microfibers visibly lengthen by attaching themselves to your lashes.

Step 2 - Lash coloring: mascara creates full volume, ultra rich color and shine.

Shop for your own Bourjois Coup de Theatre for $18 now.
