The Summery Beach Lip Color You Need from Sue Devitt

The latest issue of Lucky Magazine called it a faux pas to wear makeup to the beach besides some concealer and waterproof mascara. I have to disagree though. A Summery lip color can look chic and pair perfectly with bright nails, which are always appropriate for some beachside fun.

The lip color I’ve been in love with lately (and wore to the beach on Monday!) is actually a combination. The Sue Devitt Lip Intensifier Pencil in Kirakira ($22 US) and Balanced Matte Lipstick in Babylon ($20 US) create just the right coral.

Mixing it Up with the Aveda Smoothing Lip Colors and Rehydrating Lip Glazes

Since the Aveda Smoothing Lip Colors ($16 US) and Rehydrating Lip Glazes ($18 US) that I reviewed recently go so well together, I thought it’d be fun to see how they look layered on top of each other. Aveda did a great job making the collection cohesive, because they ended up coordinating perfectly!

In fact, I think I like how they look together more than I like each of them worn separately.

EOS Lip Balms Soften Lips with Unique Scents!

I don’t know about you, but lip balm is a pretty boring lip product when you compare it to high-shine glosses or creamy lipsticks. Even so, I may just be obsessed with one, the EOS Lip Balm ($3.29 US).

Not only do they look fun and bright like fruity hard candy, each of the six flavors smell delicious!
