I had a friend over when I received the Tarte Pure Delights 8-Piece Lipsurgence Lip Set ($34 US), and she couldn?t stop oohing and ahhing over the cuteness factor of the mini lipstains. There?s just something inexplicably adorable about miniature things.
She was also excited about the actual products too as a fellow beauty lover, exclaiming the gorgeous variety of colors. We both established that rosy lip colors look great on her a long time ago, but they?re also a simple way to look festive for holiday photos.
From left to right: Lovely, Glee (matte), Believe, Generous (matte)
Lovely is a nice medium glossy pink. Glee is a happy pink red. Believe is a warm-toned red pink. Generous is a medium pink nude.
From left to right: Enamored, Destined (matte), Grateful, Cheerful (matte)
Enamored is a glossy red. Destined is an intense raspberry red. Grateful is a glossy nude. Cheerful is a flattering yellow pink.

The Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tints have a lovely texture that holds color to the lips without drying them out. I even wear the matte shades comfortably for hours. The matte shades last about 5-6 hours on me while the original shades last about 4 hours. I like that they have a minty taste as well.
