Anyone else feel anxious at the prospect of photos? My sister is a photographer and always reminds me of tips to make myself look more flattering on camera, but even so I always feel a little awkward.
Though the anxiety never goes away, ensuring that my makeup looks good helps me feel a little better. When I know that I’ll be taking photos, nothing helps face makeup look its best than a layer of foundation primer.
My pick right now is the oh-so luxurious Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer ($48 US). Offering almost as much coverage as a light tinted moisturizer, this primer helps brighten skin and even out tone along with prepping skin for foundation and helping it last longer.
The formula feels unbelievably silky on the skin without the strange silicone-like rubbery velvet texture some primers have. For normal days, I imagine that the Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer can serve as a tinted moisturizer type product to just throw on and go for an effortless, barely-there look.
Do you have any favorite camera poses? What are your opinions on foundation primers?
